African Black Soap is a very gentle soap that is 100% natural. Traditionally made in Ghana, black soap has been shown to smooth skin and may relieve acne, and treat skin irritations. It can be used for all skin types, from oily to dry, but because of its gentle nature, black soap is an excellent cleanser for sensitive skin.
These black soap bars are made from unrefined shea butter, virgin palm kernel oil, plantain leaves and cocoa pod ashes.
How to use black soap.
Rub the bar between your hands and then apply to your face and body. Black soap is very soft and has a high glycerin content. Because of this, black soap is prone to absorbing moisture from the air and if you leave black soap exposed to water it will dissolve away. Always keep your black soap dry between uses.
