One of my favorite tips from this article was to think of words as nutrition. Read. Feed your mind. Read everyday.

"If you don’t purposefully carve time out every day to progress and improve — without question, your time will get lost in the vacuum of our increasingly crowded lives."

This article challenges you to rethink your approach to life. Are you spread too thin with a life filled with trivial nonessentials? Can you change your life with consistent morning routine? Maybe. I didn’t agree with everything on this list; the author advises taking a cold shower everyday to ‘wake up’ your mind (sorry not happening). I do however agree with the message: be purposeful with your life. You are the designer of your own destiny.

16 Ways to Simplify Your Life

I love the idea of simplicity. Our lives are overflowing, but pairing down isn’t easy. This article provides tips for how you can begin to simplify. Some powerful messages in this article: say no, own less, slow down and give back.
